Nilofar Langar
To all women for I love them
Let’s believe in living freely,
Laughing freely and crying unabashedly.
Let’s believe in the words of love
When they rise out of a coffin.
Let’s light on fire the dried hay stacks of arrogance.
Dance with me. Give me your heart’s hand.
Sing with me and weave Ghazals out of your pain.
Give voice to the mouthless streets.
Ah love, from within my fingers
Flow out and knock on doors with renewed passion.
